Dr. Kevin Smith is a Toronto-based specialist in chronic and interventional pain medicine, dedicated to helping patients find lasting relief from persistent and complex pain conditions. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Smith is trained in a wide range of advanced, minimally invasive procedures designed to target pain at its source — reducing or eliminating the need for long-term medication. Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and holds medical licenses in both Ontario and Nova Scotia. He currently sees patients at several locations across the Greater Toronto Area and Northern Ontario, including Sault Area Hospital, making specialized pain care available to patients in communities that are often underserved.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Smith is an active teacher and mentor, holding academic appointments at the University of Toronto, McMaster University, and the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. He has published research in leading medical journals and has contributed to shaping pain care policy across Ontario through his long-standing involvement with the Ontario Medical Association and the Ministry of Health.
