About Dr. Smith
Dr. Kevin Smith is a highly respected expert in chronic pain management with extensive experience in anesthesia and pain medicine. Graduating from the University of Calgary Medical School in 1998, Dr. Smith completed his residency in Anesthesiology at McMaster University in 2003 and has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada since then.

Dr. Smith’s practice spans various hospitals and community-based settings across Ontario, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, focusing on both acute and chronic pain medicine. He has a special interest in diagnosing and managing spinal and neuropathic/nociplastic pain conditions using advanced interventions.

- Education and Training: Co-directed a conference for the Haitian Anesthesia Society on ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia in 2010 and has mentored trainees from McMaster University and the University of Toronto’s Pain Medicine Royal College residency program.
